How are your prices worked out?
Our prices are fixed by us on a daily basis and are subject to change. The price you see quoted is the FULL price you pay for the goods other than a small postage charge. There are NO extra commissions on top.
How much is delivery?
UK Mainland:
In order to keep our product prices to a minimum we have to charge the postage. Our parcels are dispatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery which is insured up to £2,500. Any order which is over £2,500 is covered by our own insurance. This extra insurance is provided by us free of charge. Postal charges will depend on the value and weight of the order. Charges range from £6.30 + VAT to £27.90 + VAT (10Kg maximum weight). Please contact us for an accurate delivery quote.
International Shipping:
We offer an International shipping service, prices vary subject to size of order. Please contact us for further information.
WE WILL ENDEAVOUR TO DISPATCH ORDERS THE SAME DAY PROVIDED PAYMENT HAS CLEARED BY 15:00. ORDERS RECEIVED AFTER THIS TIME WILL BE DISPATCHED THE FOLLOWING WORKING DAY.
Can I collect from your shop?
Yes, you are more than welcome to visit us at our retail shop in Sutton Coldfield. However, please do not turn up without first making an appointment. We DO NOT keep all of the stock on the premises for security reasons, so please call before-hand to avoid disappointment.
How are the coins presented?
The coins are delivered in clear plastic resealable bags or tubes where applicable. We supply the hard clear plastic capsules if required, these will be charged at around 40p + VAT each.
Can I pay using my Debit/Credit Card?
Unfortunately we cannot accept payment via Debit or Credit Card. We accept bank transfer, personal cheque and cash.
Do you Buy-Back Gold/Silver I have bought from you?
Yes, we are happy to buy back any Gold or Silver which you have bought from us, or even from other sources. Prices vary due to stock levels and demand. We pay up to 100% of the spot price on the day. Please call us on 0800 6446 375 for up-to-date prices.
Are Gold and Silver subject to VAT?
At present Gold is not subject to VAT, however Silver is subject to VAT at the current standard 20% rate.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes, we will ship outside of the UK; however the customer will need to accept the cost of postage and insuring the parcel. This will be discussed at the time of order.
Do your bars come with an assay certificate?
All of our gold bars are 24 carat and therefore 99.99% pure gold. They all have 999.9 stamped on them to show the purity of gold. Some bars are accompanied with certificates from the manufacturers. All of our NEW bars from Metalor & Heraeus are supplied with certificates.
Condition of Coins
Unless otherwise stated our coins are sold purely as bullion items. They are in good condition but are sold purely for their Gold value. At present we do not sell numismatic coins however on occasion we do sell proof sets and other collectable coins which we purchase on the second hand market.
